Right around 2011, game developers collectively regrouped, realized that copying World of Warcraft probably isn't the best idea, and took to this new thing called Kickstarter to bypass big, out-of-touch publishers to create what the people actually want. | Gaijin has announced the beta release of the War Thunder expansion, Steel Generals. The expansion brings six iconic tanks from the United States into the game, with more coming in 2015. By the end of Quarter 1 2015, the team anticipates thirty US tanks to be embroiled in the fray. Read more here |

| 2P.com is reporting that Carbine Studios has entered into an agreement with Chinese publisher, Giant Interactive, to bring WildStar in either late 2015 or early 2016. The announcement was made by Giant's president in a recent interview. Read more here |
