Today I want to talk about another student in my class who took a completely different path than Sandy, the other student that you heard from in a previous email.
Instead of using a fully hosted shopping cart like Shopify, Brandon decided to start his online store using the free open source shopping cart Open Cart.
Open Cart is 100% free. So Brandon's upfront costs to start his website was under $50.
Once again, Brandon was someone with little or no technical experience and had never started a business in his life.
But within his first 2 months of business, he received 27 orders and generated $2,780 in revenue!
What's funny about Brandon is that he signed up for my class, quietly watched all the videos and then launched an online store selling washer toss games that was profitable right off the bat.
From the point when he signed up for my class, we exchanged like 3 emails. And the only time we actually spoke to each other was when he asked for my opinion on his niche prior to pulling the trigger. After performing the due diligence on his product idea, I told him it was all good and off he went!
Today, his site ranks on the front page of Google and he receives sales without spending any money on marketing whatsoever.
