The game is set for Steam early access coming up in the next few weeks and Mike's team has been working hard to get everything ready to go. | I found it rather amusing that this is the 13th major release for Shroud of the Avatar, and that it comes after their hugely successful debut on Steam. Last month saw the game added to Steam's list of available Early Access titles, and the results were a sweeping victory for the team at Portalarium. With a whopping 87% positive reviews, and really strong sales that put the game in the top 10 on Steam's list of top sellers, it's been a fantastic month for Shroud of the Avatar. Read more here |

| Those participating in Dragon Age: Inquisition multiplayer will be happy to hear that the DAI HQ has been released. Players can use a web-based or mobile version of the DAI HQ to track their multiplayer characters including accumulated experience and equipment, which challenges have been completed and leaderboard information. The Dragon Age: Inquisition HQ is very similar to the one created several years ago for Mass Effect 3's multiplayer component. Read more here |
| The Lord of the Rings Online forum has been updated with the latest update notes. Included among the general bug fixes and feature enhancements is the news that unique essences from Central Gondor will no longer be stackable. Players will only be able to equip one of each type. The team detailed how retroactive changes will be applied alongside the long list of other patch contents. Read more here |
| CD Projekt Red hinted last week that a second playable character would be included in the forthcoming The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. Today, the company announced that it will be Ciri, mentored by Geralt himself. Players will play as Ciri at critical junctures in the story, though she will not be able to be selected as the default player character. Read more here |

| Previously released for iPad, Chilled Mouse has announced that it is working in a partnership with Games Workshop and Rodeo Games to bring Warhammer Quest for PC, Mac and Linux. The game is a mixture of roleplaying, strategy and adventure genres and will launch on January 7th. Read more here |
