Pillars of Eternity is a game that does a lot of things right for not only its genre, but in general. MMOs and other types of games across our industry could learn a thing or two from what Obsidian has delivered to use in 2015. It's a game that's equal parts nostalgic and fresh, both approachable and challenging, and above all else, immensely engaging.

I've certainly not hidden the fact that I love the new age zone design for Guild Wars 2. It looks as if what we've seen in Dry Top and the Silverwastes will continue in Heart of Thorns, and I couldn't be happier. Well, I could be happier, strictly speaking, but it's not ArenaNet's fault that I haven't won the lottery yet (#&*@$ real-life RNG...).

Blizzard has announced that the Blizzard Token will begin being sold in the Americas region (North America, Latin America, Australia, and New Zealand) beginning after the weekly update on Tuesday, April 7th. The tokens will sell for $20 USD / $25 AUD. Players will be limited to purchasing ten tokens over 30-days but Blizzard will be assessing that number over time.

Daybreak Game Studio has announced that the DC Universe Online Munitions Power update will officially launch into the game on Tuesday, April 7th. Members will receive the update for free, while non-members will be able check out the Marketplace.

Turn-based wizard combat RPG, Chaos Reborn, has been updated with some big new features for Early Access players. Gold and experience have been added as well as procedurally generated staves and gear.

Gameforge and HEX Entertainment have announced that the first-ever PvE content will be coming to Hex: Shards of Fate. Called "Frost Ring Arena", the PvE expansion to the game will give players an opportunity to face off against AI opponents and will bring new cards into competitive game play with new troops, spells and effects.

In a new interview with PC Gamer, Obsidian's Feargus Urquhart revealed that a Pillars of Eternity expansion is already underway and that the team wants to "be there" as players finish up a first and perhaps even second play through within the next couple of weeks to a month. In addition, Urquhart revealed for the first time that a tabletop version of Pillars of Eternity is in the works.

Square Enix is teasing a new game being developed by one of its Western studios and has posted a rather cryptic image on its Twitter page. The news about the title will be slowly revealed over three days in an "interactive" format. The first information about the new game is set to come to light today on Square Enix's Twitch.tv channel, though no specific time has been announced.

The Rift team has announced that players will be able to participate in a brand new Instant Adventure in Hammerknell when the next update goes live. According to a developer blog on the Rift site, Hammerknell and overall improvements to the Instant Adventure feature have made it possible for the event to contain more interesting objectives, both combat and non-combat.
